Makkah, the holiest city in Islam and the birthplace of the last Prophet (P.B.U.H), is home to numerous mosques that adhere to the Makkah Prayer Times. Some of the most renowned ones are:

Masjid al-Haram
As the largest mosque in the world, Masjid al-Haram surrounds the Kaaba and can accommodate up to 400 million people for daily prayers based on Makkah Prayer Times. Every year, millions of pilgrims from around the globe come here to perform Hajj and Umrah. Originally constructed during the time of Caliph Omar Ibn al-Khattab (R.A) to enclose the Kaaba, the mosque has undergone many expansions, particularly in the 8th and 14th centuries.

Mosque of the Jinn
One of the oldest mosques in the world, this mosque is said to have been built at the spot where a group of jinn gathered to listen to the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) recite the Quran. It is believed that even today, jinn gather here for prayers. Once used as a meeting place for the police, it now functions fully as a mosque where people perform Salah following the Makkah Prayer Times.

Masjid Al-Khayf
This mosque holds great significance, as mentioned in Hadith. According to a narration by Ibn Abbas, the Prophet (P.B.U.H) said, “Seventy Prophets prayed in Masjid al-Khayf” [Majma‘uz-Zawahid]. With space for 25,000 worshippers, it is a place where daily prayers and special Salah are performed in line with the Makkah Prayer Times.
